Strawberry and Strawberry Shortcake Costumes
Strawberry costumes come in two main varieties: Strawberry Costumes or Strawberry Shortcake Costumes. Strawberry costumes are much more suited for infants and toddlers as the costumes a bit bulky. However, new this year is an adult Strawberry costume which would be a perfect mother-daughter costume or just great for anyone who really wants to be a strawberry for Halloween.
A good strawberry costume includes a full red jumpsuit with a green collar and hat. The jumpsuit is sometimes stuffed so the costume looks more "juicey." For the leggings you can choose to use either red or green stockings or go bare-legged. Strawberry Shortcake costumes are based upon the charcater which debuted in the 1980's cartoons. Strawberry shortcake has been a popular character amount kids ever since and is featured in movies, games and even has her own toy line! This costume is popular with kids, teens and even adults and makes a great mother-daughter or sister-sister costume.
A good strawberry shortcake costume includes a cute dress pink and white dress, strawberry purse and strawberry shortcake hat. The entire dress should be frilly and/or puffy at the bottom . The final piece of any good Strawberry Shortcake costume is the bonnet that she wears. This bonet should either be red and white or pink and must have little strawberries on the bonnet! Also, don't forget the cute Strawberry purse which can also double as the place to collect your Halloween candy!
